Job Details
In this role you will be accountable for ensuring the E2E delivery of the Projects as agreed from time to time. The role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of the project(s) to time, cost and quality both from an internal perspective in relation to client service level agreements.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Delivery/Contractual Management
- Where applicable ensure the creation of the Project Initiation Document (PID)
- Ensure effective project delivery management by delivering to plan in line with SLAs and client KPI’s
- Acceptance of the sites following declaration from the Regional Project Manager
- Ensuring all on site activities are managed to operational high standards and within the commercial budgetary constraints
- Liaison with the Site Delivery Managers on site issues and resolutions
- Post PID lead, develop and define the Project Delivery Plan with the client
- Provision of forecasts of accesses and lockdowns
Supplier Management
- Organise reviews
- Ordering of equipment for sites, subsequently ensuring successful programming and delivery of all equipment
- Ensuring Clarify cases are raised
- Management of Internal departments and sub-contractors to deliver to set SLA’s.
- Management of Sub Contractors issues and risks, billing etc to ensure smooth project deliverables
- Organising and running site by site reviews with Sub Contractors
Client Management
- Attending site by site reviews with customer as required
- Reporting up to Senior Management of the business and to the customer when required
- Attendance on Ad Hoc Project calls as required by the Customer
- Provision of forecasts of BPR and Lockdown
- Attend regular meetings, conference calls to ensure client has sufficient visibility to delivery of the project.
Finance/Budget
- Accountable for ensuring accurate budget & resource management to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the project as well
- as ensuring net profit margins are achieved each month
- Liaison internally with Finance and commercial to site specifics and costs
- Budget management & flash reporting
- Resolution and escalation of acquisition issues and risks
- Accountable for the closure and collection of any outstanding monies due throughout the project life
Systems
- Ensuring any information required on the Handover Packs is available from the Site Delivery Managers and escalate when
- necessary
- Ensure RHW called-off at point of site release
- Ensure main cases raised at point of site release
Data
- Ensures Data Integrity though out the project lifecycle
- Ensure data in all tools is up to date. Accurate forecast and actual dates with no historical dates to be seen against.
- Quality control of all related data and correspondence prior to submission to Customer
- Internal and external reporting on regular weekly/monthly basis. Exception reporting
Governance & Compliance
- Continuous improvement and sharing best practice
- Facilitate comms. installs on customers sites
- Ensure RHW called-off at point of site release
- Delivery of KPI’s & generic milestones
- Ensure procs, specs and H&S standards are maintained and improved upon where applicable to meet Company, Group and
- Industry changing obligations
- Identifying (via acquisition surveyor resource), site specific exceptions that have a commercial risk and communicating these to the
- regional PM and commercial team
People
- Define and secure the appropriate resources needed to successively support the project delivery
- Ensure all in the team are capable and motivated to deliver on time and within the approved quality specification
- Working closely with the various internal departments such as Design, build & commercial teams to ensure smooth handover from
- Acquisition into build and then final accounts.
- Line management and personal development responsibility of staff including one-to-one performance reviews leading to increased
- capability
- Workload management of staff – determining and managing workloads

Person specification:
Essential
- Excellent Project Management Skills – Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecoms Acquisition
- Experience in Vendor Management as part of a project delivery
- Advanced IT Skills (Excel, Word, Access etc)
- Minimum of 5 years within a similar role
Desirable
- MRICS qualified
- Prince or APM qualified
- Exposure to Telecoms Operators
- Minimum of 7 years in a similar role
